Periodic Customer Statement variance(overview vs detailed mode)

This is affecting several accounts and cannot be replicated. We have to do an export import to fix the error.

Mode: Overview
The report balance is -93,164.30


Mode: Detailed
The report balance is 14,830.70


Please confirm what could be causing this discrepancy.
