Regarding this Android Client that is currently (2018.04.17) in the Google Play Store (UK),

1 - Which versions will this work with?

2 - Will it work with customers who have have halcust files?

3 - It asks for auto update client then fails when trying to connect to an 8.2 server, how can we get around this error if at all.

Hi,

To answer your questions:

1. It should work with all released versions of 8.4;
2. We can't tell for sure, it would require testing. Usually HAL code needs to be adapted to support smaller screens;
3. There is no getting around this error because we support only the latest Android client version, which is currently 8.4. Also, large amount of Android bugs were fixed between 8.2 and 8.4 and it should be more stable now.

2. Hal files are working but there is limitation of declared procedures/functions in the beginning of the hal file. There can be no more than 200 rows, so if for example interface file has all the functions from allwindows.hal it needs to be changed.
