Android client - photos are very low quality

Using my Android phone, I logged into SERP 8.5, opened a record, opened document manager, clicked the camera icon, selected camera, and took a photo of a receipt. The photo was very low quality, causing the writing to be illegible.

I then took a photo on my phone's camera app and uploaded the photo to the document manager. The receipt was clear to read.

I logged in to SERP on Windows and looked at the document manager. The first imagine.jpg is only 24kb whereas the second is 70kb.

How do we increase the resolution of photos taken from within the SERP Android app?
