It is not a work stopper.
There is no sence to have different Rec.Codes in the matrix with the RadioButton "Reconciled", as Rec.Code in the header works as a general filter and grouping criteria,and the totals are calculated based on grouping :
Currently Reconciled Balance
New Reconciled Balance
Difference

But can be nice to get Update Notes about the recent development done with Account Reconciliation window.
