Reconnection time
3-9-23
Operating system: macOS
Hello there. I have an issue with the reconnecting feature that is uncomfortable for customers. If the computer goes to sleep or the connection drops for a short time (e.g., Wi-Fi), then SERP tries to reconnect to the server. Usually, it works, but it is very slow. I did some tests with the server: I changed my connection from Wi-Fi to mobile internet, and the reconnection time ranged from 15 to 200 seconds. However, the ping console told me that the internet was up after 5 sec. Are there any ways to improve the speed of reconnection to the server for these cases?

At this time, for ordinary customers nothing appears on their screen and they think that Hansa has frozen and do a manual restart from the task manager.

If you need, I can create a scenario for repeating the tests.

Tested on 8.5 2022-12-30. The server is on Linux and the clients are Mac and Windows.
