6-3-26
Operating system: Windows
Hi there,
Version 2025-08-11.
When restoring data using the GUI client, we get a restore window that lists all the available text backup files. We have noticed that the date on the left hand side on this window doesn't always say the date the backup actually took place. Most of our customers were not in work last week and so didn't use HW SERP.
We have a window that looks like this:
Timed Backup at 23:00, 26/05/2026 27/5/26 Backup\TB260527.TXT
Timed Backup at 23:00, 26/05/2026 28/5/26 Backup\TB260528.TXT
Timed Backup at 23:00, 26/05/2026 29/5/26 Backup\TB260529.TXT
Timed Backup at 23:00, 26/05/2026 30/5/26 Backup\TB260530.TXT
Timed Backup at 23:00, 26/05/2026 31/5/26 Backup\TB260531.TXT
Timed Backup at 23:00, 01/06/2026 1/6/26 Backup\TB260601.TXT
We noticed that the backups that took place on 27th May to 31st May had a date on the left hand side of this window of 26/05/26 but the day they came back to work and started using the system, this date on the left hand side suddenly gave the date of the backup, in this case 1/6/26.
Can someone confirm where the date on the left hand side of the restore window obtains the date from please?
Does it come from within the database and is actually the date of the last transaction or the date the system was accessed or something like that?
Or does it come from elsewhere?
We have other odd times when we get date differences on this window too and it would be good to understand where the system gets the date from.
Thanks
Best wishes
Dave
