I am trying to set up loyalty cards functionality for a customer, now i have realised that whenever a customer redeems their loyalty points using their loyalty cards they are in turn awarded further loyaty points.

Ideally we expect a customer to be only awarded loyalty points when they use other payment modes other than the loyaly one
