My Standard > Change server data

There is a new function on My Standard called "Change Server Data". In here are fields that can be filled in - some are already completed.

Data Folder
Backup Folder
Port

HTTP Port
HTTPS Port

I have a few questions.

Data Folder - presumably this should be used with great care?

Backup Folder - does this change where Standard ERP runs the timed backup to, or does it tell the cloud node in which folder to search for backups?

Ports and Backup Folder - what is the hierarchy? The places these can be set are here, parameters.txt in My Standard, parameters.txt in the Standard ERP Server folder, and Technics > Program Mode or Technics > Timed Operations within Standard ERP.

Hi Paul.

Data Folder is only shown to customers with on premises server, but yes, should be handled with great care. We are working on a wish to display a warning when changing the data folder.

Currently we have a bug with the Backup folder function so it does not list backups from the new backup folder listed in Change Server Data nor does it save backups in folder listed under this function.

The hierarchy is MyStandard > Parameters.txt > SERP

Hope this answers your questions,

I have tried to change http and https ports using this feature and it did not work. It says "failed to update server data". Tried it maybe 10 times at different time of the day.
