printing an invoice results in "server busy"

v. 8.2, Database is ~15GB, Windows Server 2008 64 bit with SSD disks. The client complains that clicking the print icon on the invoice results in the "server busy" message in all SERP clients. We have switched on the "forms on threads", but it did not help.
What else we could do?
