My guess is you are using an expired access token. I was getting an exactly the same File not found! instead of an error code as per OAuth 2.0 specs.

You can check with Google OAuth Playground or with this tool https://www.stabilios-sistemos.lt/hwrestapi37/index.php (only first 5 records are returned)
This tool does not store your access tokens.
