Hi,

is there any trick to avoid duplicate Field Settings records for each Access Group, when the change refers to all existing Access Groups?

Hi,

A partial trick.

It works only if you setup Access Groups dedicated only for Field Settings and you put each user at his group. And you cannot spread those settings among multiple Access Groups.

For instance, you need 2 groups for Field Settings - FS01 - Sales and FS02 - Board.
Setup Field Settings for F01 and F02 and specify FS01 or FS02 as Access Group for each user, in addition to their regular Acccess Group.
That FS must be the first in list: like this FS01,SALE. Could reduce number of duplicating Field Settings.
Might help or not, since you won't be able to set a Field Setting for SALE, you'll have to work only with FS01 or FS02.

Thanks, seems to be the solution. I have to test it more.
