Hansa crash when opening mail window

Hi everyone, a customer is getting Hansa crashes when they try to open a record in the mail register. It isn't to do with their user or their client and a reboot doesn't fix it. Does anyone have any ideas? It was working fine yesterday. It's Hansa 8.1 on a Windows 7 PC.

Hello and thank for reaching out to us with your enquiry.
Does the Hansa.log (on client and server) show something unusual before the crash?

What exactly crashes the Client or the Server?
It would be useful if you look into the log file to see what is the last activity before the crash.

Best regards

Giuseppe

Hello! This issue may have triggered itself due to a Windows automatic update on to some the local machines of your customers. We also experienced this on internal 8.1 versions of Standard ERP and had made fixes for this in 8.3, 8.4 and 8.5. We recommend that your customer updates to the latest 8.5 version of Standard ERP for optimal system performance in their Windows environment. Thanks!

Best Regards,
Omar
