Hi,

I have a customer server recently migrated to 8.5 2020-01-07 version.
Because of everybody working from home with some low quality internet/router connection, SERP clients loose connection and tries to reconnect.
Sometimes when that happens They get an error popup that says "You have been disconnected by a different user". Of course this is not the reasons, because User is already logged and is not able to reconnect again.
I found the error number 21610 and has the following comment in hal "/* Login/Reconnect/Logoff */".

Is there any way to avoid this, Maybe to logout old session, set some timeout or anything ?

This was not happening with old 8.4 version.

Hi,

Yes, this has been reported as a bug and is in the queue for development.
I will escalate the issue.

In the meantime, have you tried disabling auto reconnect for some of the clients? It's in User Settings >> Settings >> Local Optional Features >> Reconnect -> set to Never

Our clients also suffer from this even all clients working in LAN with their server on premises.

I have told one of the customers to connect via wired connection and then the number of disconnections decreased, but the client is still complaining.

The last line shows the client has been disconnected for no reason.
We have fixed Database not in Live Mode issue manually in the technics, but it did not help.
