This is still a problem. Customer received new invoice dated 1 september with the 4 extra multi user companies (total = 5). They have applied for new enabler, but configuration still says 4 multi-user companies.

Sounds like you're talking about REST API. And that your are overwriting data with older values if B managed to read record before A finished to update it. Classic conflict resolution ...
