ProgramType not set

A customer on 8.5, using Windows clients, is often unable to open Standard ERP after botting up their PCs in the morning. The message "ProgramType not set" appears. The only way we've found to resolve it is to reinstall the Standard ERP client each time. Does anyone know of a reason for this error?

Hello,

Please attach log there, as we did not hear it. seems more Windows bug. Customer should update Windows to latest.

I don't believe this has occurred again since updating to 8.5 2018-12-07, if so it would suggest it was an issue with the previous version (2018-11-28).

This has again after automatic client upgrade to 8.5 2020-04-20 (build 85332031) from v. 8.4. The other client (PC) of the same installation has no problems.

Problem was the missing vc++ Visual Studio 2015, 2017 and 2019 runtime x86, even when x64 runtime has been installed it required x86 runtime
