Hello,
Standard ERP allows stocks to be kept at several different Locations.
Stock balances for items are maintained both per Location and total.
You can also Group Locations and have different Positions per Location.
Positions are distinct areas within Locations.
When entering eg. Goods Receipts, Items can be placed in Positions using the field on flip F.
This can help with the organization of large Locations, but has no accounting significance (stock valuations cannot be produced for a Position).
Items can be moved to new Positions using Stock Movements.
