There is new chip Apple M1 in new Macs instead of Intel. Can we expect native Mac Client SERP ready for it? Have you tested such on Big Sur?

Native client is already working on BigSur. There are some improvements implemented in latest development version and they will be available in next released version.

No changes should have been made that would increase client's HDB file. Please try to delete HANSA.HDB from client folder and reconnect to server and check if it will grow to 30MB again.
