why recalculating weight after printing the invoice

Our client would like to automatically generate Invoice PDF after OKing the Invoice. I looked at the source and see that weight and qty totals are being recalculated AFTER printing the invoice to PDF:
File IVVcRecAction2.hal, line 386, version 8.4 (same is true for 8.2):
if (IVr.OKFlag!=0) then begin
...
IVCreateAndAttachPdf(IVr);
...
RecalculetWeightVolumeIVVc(IVr,false);
end;

What is the reason of recalculating totals after printing the invoice?
