Pasting Lines in Transactions

Version 8.4 2018-07-26 Mac OS X

Good day,

If Client Pastes a journal into a transaction, blank lines are entered in between.

Is this a bug? Is there a work around?

This problem is not on the Win Client.

Pasted from excel. THe same file is used to paste in Windows Client and works 100%

Sounds to me like copying data from Excel for Mac is inserting an extra carriage return/form feed character. What happens if you paste into TextEdit first, then copy from there and paste into the transaction?

Tested, and the result is the same.

I have a customer with the same issue. They recently upgraded to 8.4 and use MacOS.
